Have you ever been in the In-between time? You know, when you can’t go back where you were and you can yet go where you are headed. The in-between time. The in-between place. It’s hard. It’s lonely. It’s unavoidable. It comes more than once in life.
It’s in-between the life you used to live and the life you are going to live. You see, we are meant to change, to grow, evolve. Many try to live as though this fundamental fact doesn’t apply to them. It applies to every living being.
We live on a certain trajectory. Then, we outgrow that trajectory. Without our permission. Often without our knowledge. We change, with or without our own knowledge, and we become someone so different that our former life no longer fits in our skin. When that happens we are ejected emotionally, physically, mentally, spiritually, into the in-between time and space.
In the in-between time, we gather ourselves together and begin to discern where we are to go and who we are becoming. Depending on how self aware we are, this can take a while. It’s a whole season. For, you see, there’s no leaving the in-between time until we discern what the Spirit sent us there to figure out. Soon as we figure it out, we can leave.
When we leave the in-between time and space, we come out armed for a new journey, with the gifts to go where we are supposed to go, and do in this new dispensation, what we were sent to do.
When we have completed that part of our journey, we will head once more, back to the in-between time, to figure out where next GOD has assigned us.
GO WITH GOD, SISTERS AND BROTHERS.
Blessings,
Pastor Brenda
